We invite you to join us in “Discovering China” - Beijing, Shanghai & Chengdu Agent Familiarization in February and March 2005.

China is located in the eastern part of the Asian continent and on the western coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is a big family of 56 ethnic groups with a population of 1.3 billion and has an ancient civilization of 5,000 years. Beijing, the capital of China, is a city of history, which has never forgotten its oriental culture and civilization. It is also a city of fashion that stands at the forefront of modernization and science. Shanghai, located at the center of the country’s coastline, is China’s economic center and industrial base. Overlooking the Huangpu River, Shanghai is also a beautiful city mixing traditional Chinese, European and 21st century architectures. Chengdu located in the beautiful, fertile Chuanxi Plain in southwest China; the city is rich in tourism resource, featuring the unique Shu culture, and the home of the giant panda.

“Discovering China” is a 10 days Fam, which will depart New York on February 23, 2005 from the east coast and depart Vancouver on March 2, 2005 from the west coast. The cost for each successful applicant is CAD 699.00 (inclusive of taxes), which includes return economy airfare on Air China from New York or Vancouver, eight nights hotel accommodation, sightseeing tours, educational and cultural activities, most meals and lots of fun & excitement.

The Fam is designed for full time Canadian agents working at an IATA appointed agency with a minimum of 5 years experience in travel industry. Companion rate is not available.
